The Edge of Fear Podcast

Oct 25, 2019

Admitting our weaknesses in order to build strength. Asking questions to ACTUALLY learn, instead of fearing looking dumb for not knowing, or googling the answer, or pretending we understand what someone is saying, and not being able to truly connect or engage in the conversation because we have no idea what’s going on. Asking questions opens up conversation, often clarifying more than just whatever is the response to the question, and dialogue for people who may not have realized the concept was unclear. We as a whole learn better from your question, and have a better chance of remembering this interaction because it became a conversation we were learning from, rather than just a statement or fact. Admitting your shortcomings requires humility and vulnerability, and is a courageous and admirable action. We are so much more creative at the level of group. Share your questions, share your thoughts; we will create a greater tomorrow in working together.
